woodside/sunnyside's favorite cafe - AUBERGINE CAFE has added the Stray Vegetarian Sandwich to their regular menu. It's a hummus, avocado, lettuce, tomato & sprouts on multigrain bread. Yum!

after months of us custom ordering this sandwich - owners catherine & gary, decided to make it official, and we couldn't be more flattered. thank you both...

Stormville 2010

Ehhh, Stormville was a bit of a disappointment this year. Way too many vendors selling body products, cellphone cases & semi-racist army/navy tees. We did, however, find some gems. A Daystrom Yellow/Chrome kitchen table w/ chairs. . . a vintage Hamilton dental desk .. . and some random nic nacs including a Diver Vs. Shark desk ornament. Yay. All in all, it was a beautiful day. On the drive back to the Huss' house, we both came to the conclusion, good sale-bad sale, it's always great to be out hunting.

Sunnyside Art Fair III

To all Artists(or fans of Art), mark Sunday, June 13th down on your calender! It'll be a day of art show hopping including the Art Fair III at Queen of Angels (Skillman & 44th) - Portrait of the Exquisite, a juried show at BLISS(46th & Skillman) and The Art of Architecture at Laura Heim Architect(4103 46th street).
Come out, check out the shows, stop at Claret for a nice glass of wine and maybe pop over to Stray and say hi.
